In Our Shoes: Trauma, Pt. 2

The ACLU of Arizona’s Campaign for Smart Justice advocates for safe and sensible reforms that invest in people first and not prison. With overdose rates rising year after year, Arizona needs to adopt a public health approach to this crisis, rather than punitive tactics that impose incarceration for those who suffer from substance use disorder.

During April's In Our Shoes event, a panel of behavioral health professionals will discuss trauma-informed approaches to substance use disorder treatment and case management, instead of criminalizing addiction.
