About the event
There is power in writing down your story. The founders of the Freedom Writers movement knew this, and since 1994, thousands of students have found self-empowerment through journaling.
Join us for a screening of the movie, Freedom Writers. The film will be followed by a brief journaling workshop to help you start writing your story and build community with others doing the same!
Anyone who attends the in-person event will receive a journal and meal. You can also join us virtually on Zoom. We hope to see you there!
